In response to a growing need for additional ways to share NOLS course offerings to prospective students and parents, we adapted the 2013 NOLS Course Catalog for viewing on a tablet. I used Adobe Digital Publishing Suite and InDesign. The design largely followed the print edition, with a few interactive elements—pull-outs for sidebars to highlight the NOLS curriculum. This was a forerunner to the organization's embrace of more digital tools to connect with new students. What came next was a fully redesigned website, logo, and design/brand system.
